I was thankful to have the support of my husband David, my daughter Tala, My good friends, Jo, Liz and others whose presence I truly appreciated. I chose this maximalist style to echo the decadence of the the period, though there was no metallic paint in the 1920's. When a machine is so badly rusting or in need of paint I feel it an opportunity to be more creative and hopefully give a machine a chance at another 100 years of functionality.
